Your Responsibilities

Please note that Cape Ann Oil will not be responsible for losses, damages, or injuries for any unoccupied or vacant primary residencies or rental properties resulting from heating system failures or empty tanks. You, the customer, are responsible for monitoring the temperatures around your vacant or unoccupied properties. You're also responsible for checking the operation of your heating system on a day-to-day basis.

You are also responsible for your Seasonal or Second-Home properties and their oil heating systems. Please arrange for daily monitoring of their heating systems and oil levels.

We want to stress that it is always your responsibility to ensure you have an adequate fuel supply, whether you have an automatic or will-call plan. That being said, accounts in good standing or automatic delivery won't be charged any emergency fees for oil deliveries.
